HOLA AMIGAS! How are you?

It has been quite a few months since I have lasted posted any book content or even life content!

Fortunately, I was able to get out of my reading slump in November after reading "Me Before You" by Jojo Moyes. Honestly, I am glad I didn't read that book 10 years ago or around the time I also read TFIOS. Why? Because I would've most likely called it quits at that point. MBY broke me and made me feel a way I haven't felt in so, so, long. The pain made me feel alive. No spoilers, but Will's letter to Lou? TORE ME APART. I would self-torture myself and go back to reading it multiple times just so I could feel something and cry.

In the beginning of October, I started working after being unemployed for a few weeks and we have been chugging on this train ever since. I have definitely learned PLENTY about myself in these last three months, some things beings:

- I am happier when I socialize with others and see people on a daily basis.

- I like to keep my mind busy.

- When I am passionate about something, it shows.

- I am mentally and emotionally healthier when I set boundaries.

- I NEED my alone time and time away from home and family or else I will go bonkers.

- Some things truly fall into place in a way you did not expect.

- The more people you meet and know, the more your mind and emotions expand.

- Some people cannot be changed regardless of how much healing you go through.

- Finding a work/life balance can be quite difficult when you attribute your worth to your work.

- FOMO is still quite prominent in my life.

- The comparison tends to ebb and flow as I go through my days.

- I miss being a kid.

Anyway, I finished the entire "Me Before You" series last night, finally finishing "Still Me" and I am deciding on what my next book should read. I am trying to get into more audiobooks, so we will see how that goes.

k, bye for now. love you <3
