My FAVORITE Booktokers

I am on TikTok every single day. While I do scroll on my fyp page with its countless amounts of tarot card readings, astrology, political conversations, and occasionally a funny video - I spend most of my time finding book content creators. In the past couple of months, I have started to follow book content creators with as little as 100 followers up to 100k followers. Below, I have gathered my ultimate favorite booktok creators - those whose pages I check almost every day in hopes of them posting a new video.
If you are interested in more visuals and hearing me tok (haha), my TT is laurascollective - where I show clips of my day-to-day and also have a new series called "Libros with Laura" where I talk about anything and everything regarding books :)
1. abejab
Bianca was the first booktok creator I followed on my account. I found her through a viral video she posted about ACOTAR. Although I have not read the series, her initial reaction to the book was so funny and had me laughing nonstop. So, when I decided to check her page and see what content she posted, I became a huge fan due to the fact that she posted live videos of her reacting to the current book(s) she was reading. I occasionally watch her live readings and she is the reason for my reading 'House of Hollow' by Krystal Sutherland (which is one of my top 5 star reads of this year). Go give her a follow if you like live reactions to books, her fun and interactive videos, as well as her commentary - which is the best.
2. sayde_reads
Sayde is one of my favorite booktok creators because not only does she talk about different genres of books, but she is so articulate and the way in which she expresses her thoughts/opinions on a book, author, or genre is so fascinating to me. Sayde posts a variety of book reviews, book recommendations, theory thoughts, and other book content videos. I initially followed her page when one of her videos came on my fyp where she talked about The Fermi Paradox. She is one of those creators who speak so passionately about a topic and idea(s) and she inspires me to broaden my reading genres and reflect deeply on the books I read.
3. sjbabyyyy
LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING! I freaking LOVE SJ. I started following her in early May and I am so glad her Percy Jackson video was on my fyp. She has to be the FUNNIEST person I have followed. Not only did I follow her booktok account, but I also followed her personal account (due to the fact that she had to make a different account so she wouldn't get suspended for her book commentary). If that doesn't tell you something about her humor and personality, I don't know what does. SJ is a very interactive creator and her videos range from her reading updates, her hilarious and sarcastically blunt book reviews/recommendations, and overall bookish-thoughts and occasional hauls. Every day, I check to see if she has posted a new video because it literally makes my day when she does. One major thing I like about sj’s page is that it never feels forced or unauthentic to me. I genuinely like her personality, I love how she talks about books in a great (but always funny) way, and I feel like she and I could be best friends. I mean it.
So, those are my top 3 booktokers at this time (June 30th, 2022). However, if I do end up finding and following other booktokers, I WILL update this list!
