Here we go again...
I know what you may be thinking… “Laura, didn’t you say you were going to read so-and-so-many books over the summer?”
Yes, in fact, I did say that. However, I failed to mention that life works in mysterious and unexpected ways and every once in a while, when we hit those obstacles on the road, it takes me quite a bit to resurface from my hermit mode and slump days (I’m sure my early 20-something’s understand this one…sheesh).
Anyway, I am trying to step up my game and get back into my habit of reading constantly and replacing my screen time (TikTok doom scrolling, iykyk) with reading time (physical and/or Kindle-version).
Therefore, I have created a list of the books I want to read in September since I am feeling quite inspired and trying to read a broad range of books that help me in my moments of sudden inspiration.
Now, here is my September TBR:
1. The Sun Down Motel - Simone St. James (finished on 9/9)
2. The Alchemist - Paulo Coehlo
3. The Midnight Library - Matt Haig
4. Such a Fun Age - Kelley Reid
5. One of Us Is Dead - Jeneva Rose
6. Exciting Times - Naoise Dolan
7. The Carrie Diaries - Candace Bushnell
8. The Dinner List - Rebecca Sirle
9. Cinder - Marissa Meyer
